A simple guide to your Willard Bay Sauna experience

1. Prior to your visit

  • Bring along: swimwear, two towels (one to sit on, one to dry off with after), flip-flops, and a bottle of water.

  • Swimwear is mandatory. The sauna has a small changing room.

  • You will receive a text message with the sauna door code prior to your visit. This code is valid 15 minutes prior to and 15 minutes past the scheduled reservation.

2. On arrival

  • The sauna is automatic, like an Airbnb, meaning there will not be a host. We ask all visitors for a little extra care.

  • Please take into consideration that there will be folks enjoying the sauna before and after you.

  • Remember to always rinse your feet before entering the sauna. This way, the premises remain clean and more enjoyable.

3. During your sauna session

  • Be sure to drink plenty of water.

  • Cool down properly.

  • With the exception of tap water, food and drinks must not be brought into the sauna.

  • Follow our recommend cycle of 10-15 min heating, 1-3 min cooling, and 5 min of relaxing.

  • Sessions typically last about 75 minutes with additional time to get changed. Use this time for reflection or enjoy the company in the sauna.

  • If this is your first time it’s important to go at your own pace and take extra time to relax.

4. After your visit

  • Stick to the agreed arrival and departure time. This way the next group can also start on time.

  • Your access code will expire a few minutes after the end of your session, so be sure to gather all your belongings with you and depart with them on time..

  • Please leave the sauna clean and tidy, as you would love to find it yourself! The sauna is cleaned frequently, but not after each visit. The next group will love you!
